Our Programs
The URA provides a portfolio of programs that include financing for business location, relocation and expansion, housing construction and rehabilitation, and home purchases and improvements.
Home Improvement Loans
Through our home financing programs, the URA helps hundreds of Pittsburgh home owners create the dwellings of their dreams. Our assistance extends far beyond financing, as URA staff will help you identify contractors, develop project specifications and assure that all tasks are completed in a workmanlike fashion. Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Program
The Housing Opportunity Fund’s (HOF) Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Program (DPCCAP) provides financial assistance to eligible first-time homebuyers in the City who are interested in purchasing an existing or newly constructed residential unit.
Homeowner Assistance Program
The Housing Opportunity Fund’s (HOF) Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP) provides up to $30,000 in financial assistance to eligible homeowners for rehabilitating and improving residential owner-occupied properties within the City of Pittsburgh.
Housing Stabilization Program
The Housing Opportunity Fund’s (HOF) Housing Stabilization Program (HSP) is a housing crisis prevention program.
